Rail is one of the most environmentally friendly modes of transport, and our solutions help rolling stock manufacturers and rail operators meet their sustainability goals. However, our commitment to sustainability goes beyond just our products and solutions. We are also focused on improving sustainability within our own operations. While we are still early in our sustainability journey, we have already taken steps, such as transitioning to renewable energy, to reduce our environmental impact.
How do our customers benefit ?
EKE-Trainnet® systems are applicable for next-generation low-emission propulsion systems such as hydrogen, battery-electric, and hybrid trains. Our TCMS platform is designed to integrate seamlessly with these propulsion technologies and manage transitions between power sources in hybrid configurations, such as switching between diesel and electric, or from catenary to battery-electric operation.
As hydrogen propulsion technology continues to develop, certain safety functions may require SIL-certified solutions. With proven SIL 2 capabilities and experience in safety-critical systems, EKE-Electronics is well positioned to support the implementation of any such requirements as they emerge.

By adopting lead-free soldering techniques and materials, we are reducing the environmental impact of our production processes and aligning with global standards such as the EU’s RoHS directive.
